PRODUCTION MANAGER / VP MANUFACTURING

Experience / Skills Required: Must be a proven performer with expertise in the manufacturing of Fire Trucks. Must have good knowledge of all of the following: weld shop (fabrication), pump plumbing, wiring systems, assembly, pump testing and troubleshooting. Must have Knowledge of one of the following standards: NFPA 1901 or ULC S515-04. Knowledge of pump test procedure (NFPA or ULC) and troubleshooting. Must have the ability to motivate and give direction to production staff. Must have the ability to train production staff and must have good knowledge of the parts used to build a Fire Truck (ie. what are the parts, how are they installed, when during the production process they are required, etc.) Must be able to plan work flow (schedule) in order to meet targets and deadlines. Must be able to interact with customers during pre-production meetings, progress inspections and final inspection.
Duties: Plan and oversee production of fire trucks with the goal of increasing production, maintaining quality, and increasing efficiency.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (plus relocation costs if required)

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

Experience / Skills Required: Must have a mechanical background with the ability to make logical deductions of mechanical failure & discuss various task solutions with staff members. Understanding PLC systems (an asset). Must have the ability to think clearly under pressure and make effective logical decisions. Must be able to juggle resources of people & equipment and must be experienced at managing within a defined budget (meeting budget expectations). Must be very accurate & detail oriented with a calm personality.
Duties: Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities include running a busy service office by communicating with customers and other departments, keeping detailed schedules, meeting obligations to customers and employees.

Salary Range: $55,000 + performance bonus (approx. $5,000) + benefits

 

PROJECT MANAGER                                        (REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT)

Experience / Skills Required: Must have a university/college degree along with a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training. A professional license (such as Engineer, Architect, etc.) is desirable but not required. Project management experience with a General Contractor is preferred. Must be proficient in ProjectConnect, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PeopleSoft Projects, Windows, Outlook, and VoloView. Must be available to travel up to 30% of the time.
Duties: Ensuring customer satisfaction and staying on top of market knowledge. Communication and coordination of weekly project meetings. On-going innovation for upgrading the process and quality of the company's buildings. Upholding the company's standards of construction. Regulating on-site inspection of progress and quality. Understanding lease requirements (especially documentation) and budget analysis. Understanding and conveying the inherent risks of building and developments. Assisting the Land Due Diligence team in preparing financial and technical analysis for land acquisitions. Working within established accounting process and procedures. Close management of outside consultants, engineers, and contractors.
